Ronald is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with forty-five years of C level experience founding, developing, running and ultimately exiting diversified business ventures. His diverse background includes retail, real estate and high-tech enterprises. After earning a degree in Finance from the University of Southern California, Ronald founded two chains of retail clothing stores, which grew rapidly to more than sixty locations in four states. Upon selling the retail stores in 1980, he co-founded one of the nations first REIT’s (Real Estate Investment Trust) that would go on to manage over $90M in real estate assets. While serving on the Board of the California Properties Fund, his own company syndicated twenty-six real estate projects in several diversified real estate sectors developing apartment units, storage projects, industrial sites, single family homes and medical buildings.

 

In 2005, Ronald founded and was the initial CEO of Alpha Particle Resource, the R & D predecessor to Alpha Source, LLC, which developed equipment to convert stable isotopes into radioisotopes. This was done utilizing alpha particles, for the first time, enabling the company to be awarded two US and International patents on its proprietary technologies. These newly developed radioisotopes can be used in sophisticated new procedures in nuclear medicine as well as other industrial applications. Ronald sourced the expertise and funding necessary to make Alpha Source a reality, shepherding it from pure theory to commercialization-ready. The company’s most recent financial partner is Google which to date, together with its partners has invested almost one hundred million in pre-revenue capital. Google has also negotiated with an investment group to begin construction on a 100,000 square foot facility, located in West Valley City, Utah to support the continued growth of the company. With the capital infusion from Google and its partners Alpha Source changed its name to Nusano, Inc. and reregistered as a “C” corporation in Delaware.

For the past three years, Ronald has been active in the Energy business pursuing investments in the green energy sector. He has been involved in the finance and administration of these opportunities.
